The President Shows His Fear

It seems everyone is worried about the economy these days. It appears that President Obama may be worried about where his next meal is coming from. He is planting a garden at the Whitehouse. Maybe we all should. I hope to have my in the ground by next weekend.

Background music during talking and prayer at church.

Why do we have to have the cheesy background music playing while people are talking or praying at church. I know that every TV evangelist uses background music but can't we keep it a little more real than that? Do we have to make things more DRAMATIC than they are? Perhaps we are trying to push the peoples emotional buttons.

It just seems to make it as corny as my grand pappy's feet.

Arizona To Remove Metric Road Signs

Arizona will spend 1.5 million dollars to replace the metric signs that were placed in the 1980's and I think that is money well spent.

Americans don't do metric. We refuse to conform. The only thing that I participate in that is metric is - I buy my Diet Pepsi in 2 liter bottles.

Paul Harvey - Good Day!

When I worked with my brother Jeff we would spend a lot of time in the car listening to the radio as we went to visit customers. I have fond memories of listening to the Paul Harvey news broadcast.

He will be missed.
